Al Qaeda #2 captured

Washington Post story...
BAGHDAD, Sept. 3
Iraqi armed forces have arrested the No. 2 leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq, the country's national security leader said Sunday.
The leader, Hamed Jumaa Faris Juri al-Saaydi, was captured within the past few days near Baqubah, along with 20 other senior members of the Sunni Arab insurgent group, which was responsible for savage beheadings of kidnapped foreigners and suicide attacks that sometimes killed dozens of civilians in a single strike, said the security adviser, Mowaffak al-Rubaie.
Saaydi, also known as Abu Humam or Abu Rana, ordered the February attack on the golden-domed Shiite shrine in Samara that ignited the ongoing ferocious wave of sectarian killings..."

One of the keys to the above story, beyond the fact that it was the #2 guy who was captured, but that the Iraqi armed forces conducted the operation. They had great support I'm sure. Hamed is also said to be giving up his accomplices to the Iraqi forces and has led to 20 more terrorists captured.

But it's a civil war! We should get out! Bring our troops home.

Bush is a Nazi.

That's it, I'm movin' to Canada.

Just like: There were no WMDs in Iraq. Uh, yes there were, and there's more to be found.

Just like: We're creating terrorists by being there. Al Qaeda wasn't in Iraq until we invaded. Uh, Zarqawi was there in 2001, doofus. Who knows how many others were there prior to that?

Just like: Cheney, Bush and Libby exposes Valerie Plame. They committed a crime. They should be impeached! Yeah, impeached! Uh, doofus, a Mr. Armitage was outed as the source of the leak, not the Bush admnistration. He purposely held back the info until the Washington Post finally let it out last week. It was all a political maneuver.

DO YOU SEE A PATTERN HERE? All the left's arguments against Bush are falling to the wayside as the TRUTH comes out!

I say keep the troops in there to assist the Iraqis. Let Al Qaeda know we won't give up. If they get that message, and its a consistent one, then winning this war is in our future.

If we cut and run, however, then Al Qaeda wins, and the terrorists will be emboldened to do whatever else they want...blow this up, kill those people, do whatever, because THEN they will know that the US doesn't have the backbone to face them.

Rush is right...America has been "sissie-fied." Keep voting for the democrats, and you'll ensure it.

Joe Wilson is the one who should probably be "frog-marched." Will there be apologies? Not likely, only remorse that it didn't turn out the way they had hoped.

Listen to "Azzaz the American" on the newest AlQueda video, and you'll hear the same rants as the Libs and Dems in Senate and in the media, blogs included. Oddmanjob in Iran opines to CBS about the number of middle class in America without insurance.
As I've noted in the past, the Left complains about their patriotism being questioned. Maybe it should be questioned. Maybe they are smart enough to see how they are enabling and comforting the enemy if they could stop daily hate GWB ritual, and "acting patriotic" in taking an anti-american outlook on nearly everything. (Just for a day. Try it, Libs.) How does this enabling of the enemy warp and get twisted into becoming patriotic in their view?
