Time for Bill Brady to surge ahead

He is the only REAL conservative in the race.

Above the fray in the psycho, bruising primary, he's also the only REAL alternative to the Blago.

Not a lot of time left to make up the "polling points," but the self destruction the other candidates seem to be engaging in may allow him to float into a victory as the voters negatively react to the infighting and inuendo.

He would make a clearly positive alternative to Blago. A new generation of Republicans is ready for an honest politician. So is the rest of the state. The "old guard" must be pushed aside for the good of Illinois.

Check out his radio and TV spots online at his website, www.BradyForGovernor2006.com

I am with you all the way, VP.

I have heard from some that they think no matter who goes up against Blowgoatavich, that they will still likely lose. I do NOT agree with that, and I think that Brady has the best chance to win. I hope the state republican party gets the word out and runs a good campaign after he's nominated.

Good luck in Chicago, however...

(I am still for the secession of Chicago. Then again, I'm also for the secession of Hollywood. Maybe Boston, too....

Topinka COULD beat Blago, and even that would be an improvement over what we have now.

However, I think that Brady WOULD beat Blago. Given a clear choice between slime and honesty, most voters will choose honesty. Maybe even in Chicago.
note to LR, I don't think we really need to jetison Chicago, we just need to send in a few Republican SWAT teams to clean it up politically, liberate the citizens, and create a real democracy where none has existed for decades :)

Topinka doesn't provide nearly as much contrast, and Blago's incumbuncy and the corrupt Dem machine will help him more against her than it would against Brady.

Well, hello, Matthew. I figured you'd love the "Republican SWAT team" quote.
It's a dry humor joke, Matt. Relax. Didn't you see the smiley at the end of the paragraph? :)

I said in the original post that Brady was above the fray. Are you trying to misquote me?

I'm very glad to hear that you, Matthew Jackson, liberal blogger, will likely vote for a Republican in the general election, and I do hope that you continue to vote Republican in the future.

Actually, Brady was a UNION CARPENTER (que the "So look for the Union label" song); I don't recall him being a real estate salesman.

Does anyone know...are there any other democrats going for the nomination, or is Blago unopposed in the "primary?"

Edwin Eisendrath, don't know anything about him, except that he's from Chicago.
