Where's The Outrage, Sen. Durbin? KOS?
Where is the outrage against torture now, Senator Durbin, Natcy Pelosi, Chuckles Schumer??? I fully expect you to sound terribly sad about this "disturbing development", whining about how WE actually caused this response and we should be locking up Don Rumsfeld now. Anything but the obvious undeniable fact that we are fighting against EVIL.
You are very predictably wrong in these things. Being "disturbed" is the standard response from Jihadi/Nazi Dick, as if we weren't already aware of that.
Group claims killings
...a claim posted on a Web site Tuesday said the soldiers were "slaughtered" in accordance with God's will.
"We announce the good news to our Islamic nation that we executed God's will and slaughtered the two crusader animals we had in captivity," says the claim, reportedly from the Mujahedeen Shura Council, a group linked to al Qaeda. "And God has given our Emir, Abu Hamza al-Muhajer, the good fortune of carrying out the legitimate court's command in person."
Wild Thing's comments are spot on......
Where are those who complain of suspected torture at Guantanamo? When real torture is used on our men, there's not a peep out of the terrorist sympathizers. We will note how the democrats and Murthawi will not rile against the terrorists over this...
Breaking news on the Kos consulting scandal. See how the left is being taken for a ride on the Daily Kos Titanic.

Allah-o-akbhar.
That's what Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Dick Turban, Ted Kennedy, and John Murtha are probably saying right now since they've heard the news.
I am outraged. It's barbaric. But it's anti-Bush, so the democrats are applauding. But they aren't saying this is an atrocity.
I think the International Red Cross should investigate this obvious torture case. Why aren't they speaking out against Al Qaeda?
Where's the anti-torture press on this one?
Why hasn't blogDecatur published anything on this torture case? Where's the outrage?
Oh yeah, I forgot, this is bad for Bush. Shhhhhhh.
Political Correctness is a fool's tool of war. And the only one that the Kerry and Durbin appeasers think should be in use by our military. How about if we use paint balls instead of bullets? Would that be more politically correct than (Gasp!) killing the enemies who are shooting mortars at our guys and setting off IEDs and car bombs? If we did that, then I'd be the first to lobby for using pork oil based paint. That won't happen, of course, because much of America knows that the Libs can't be trusted with our country's security and defense. The rest (moonbats) can't see reality through their foggy densely hypocritical positions.
Winning the war on the many faces of terrorism is not an option, it is essential.
When 'disturbed' isn't enough, Turbin worms it into 'concerned and disturbed'
MCR if I ever had the chance to meet you face to face I would have some choice words for you. To even insinuate that democrats, let alone a retired Marine Corp colonel are applauding the deaths and torture of two U.S. servicemembers is disgusting and appalling. I don't even know what to say, but it sickens me that you would let yourself become so blinded by partisanship that you would actually advance the notion that lawmakers of any party in this country are celeberating the fact that even a single servicemember was killed, let alone tortured. You disgust me, and I'm sorry I have to defend your right to say what you have said.
As to where is the outrage, I'm more saddened then outraged, but nonetheless I'm outraged. It saddens me that these young mens lives had to end like that, whenever a soldier's life is extinguished, whether I know him or not, my life is less, its the brotherhood, and my heart, my patriotic, liberal, bleeding heart goes out to their families at this time.
As a sidenote to LCR, you would probably want the International Red Crescent investigate, since the IRC isn't active in Iraq.
When we torture people we stoop to the level of the evil we oppose. In other words we let the Taliban and Al Qaeda set the agenda. Is this the kind of country we wish to live in?
Our torture methods at Abu Ghirab and Gitmo absolutely gave those who captured our GIs permission and inspiration to torture them.
This country is supposed to be a moral light and a beacon of freedom for the rest of the world. We condemn our own torture policies because it is the right thing to do.
Of course we condemn torture by others. But we have no control over their policies except to set ourselves as an example. That's why we condemn Abu Ghirab and Gitmo.
