What a joke. Sometimes I think Conservative pundits, dittoheads etc. strategy is as follows, if I throw enough shit against the wall something will stick. Let's start off, Beth says she is "bored and frustrated with all of it, and I’m starting to stress out about there being no real end in sight re: Israel OR the overall war on Islamofascism." Well no shit Beth, so are a lot of liberals, you know us evil ones. Could it be there is no real end in sight because of the people in charge, or because of the liberals. I'm going to guess the people in charge should be the ones responsible, but hey what do I know. It's definetely the liberals fault. Next lets move on to this gem, "I usually think “this is America, we’ll survive and prevail anyway,” but dammit, I’m not so sure that’s even true." Actually, I can't fault this statement, I tend to think this way a lot, are you sure she isn't a closet lib? But shortly after this she moves into batshit crazy phase, or as I like to call it, the somethign has to stick phase. Liberalism has doomed us all! Heavens I think it has.....no wait, I'm sorry I was thinking of something else, no indeed liberalism has not doomed us all. Politicians too afraid to stand up for the hard decision rather than the easy sell on both sides are whats dooming us, but thats for another day, what makes me laugh here is the suggestion that liberalism doesn't support making value/moral judgement, that liberalism doesn't believe we should have a strong military, etc. so on and so forth, something has to stick. I don't understand why liberalism doesn't support making value/moral judgements, is it so crazy to think that there is no value/morals in the idea that retirees should be able to live out there last days without worrying about making a paycheck, that families should be able to decide when their loved ones on life support aren't going to make it, and that the federal government should keep its nose out, is there no value/morals behind the idea that the United States Government owes it to its military and their families to do everything in our power before we ask our soldiers to give the ultimate sacrifice. Is there no values or morals expressed in those ideas? Can you honestly say that? If you are so blinded to think that, I sincerely feel sorry for you, and the amount of hatred that you have in your life. Liberalism doesn't believe in a strong military? Let's take a look at Afghanistan, Pres. Bush had been in charge for 10 months when the first ODA jumped into Afghanistan, I hate to break the news to you,but you don't build a strong militaryin 10 months, you rely on what is already there, and you guessed it what was tehre was Clinton's military, but I guess since we don't believe in strong military I guess I need to start calling up my lib friends in Iraq and Afghanistan and tell them, hey pull back turns out we don't believe in this whole military thing....sorry about that. I won't even begin to touch on the fact that she is proposing we are fighting religion based enemy that she wants to see eliminated, because well her boy George W, doesn't seem to mind cozying up to Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, two of teh largest Islamist players in the world, but whatever what do I know. I'm pissed, but ignorance tends to do that.
Have a very Army day,
