CNN is outlet for AlQueda snuff film

Day by Day Cartoon

CNN joins NYT as one of the leading domestic traitor organizations.
Was the story/propaganda snuff film just handed to them, or did they sanction and contract for the footage? Either way, they seem to be Anti-American traitors. Airing the enemy's propaganda is giving aid and comfort. Commissioning the video is simply criminal.

I agree with the congressman. CNN should have their involvement with our troops revoked.

This is treason. Plain and simple.
They are spreading enemy propaganda and calling it journalism, all the while encouraging Al Qaeda to make more films just like this.

I say they should not only be kicked out of their embedded positions, they should be prosecuted.

So what's the difference between this and the earlier films made by the enemy of American beheadings?
People all over the country saw those beheadings on the net and TV.
A majority of people chose not to view them but the media outlets were not called traitors or asked by Congress to be censored.

The first thing that went through my mind when I heard this was “I sure hope all the troops finally have their upgraded bullet proof vests”…

Do you mean the ones that John Kerry voted both for and eventually against?

Coldly presenting enemy propaganda snuff video is over the line for any American based network. Whether CNN commisioned the video, or if it was simply handed to them, airing it shows a remarkable lack of any patriotism or moral value. My cynical guess is that the CNN producers actually were closer to orgasm than revulsion when they first viewed the footage. This advances the MSM story line for them! The war is bad, we are losing and deserve to, and most of all, we must stop Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld.

Much of the viewing of the beheadings was from Al-Jezerra. I wasn't aware of an American network that showed those. If they did, I would also condemn them for that decision.

We don't embed Al-Jezerra with our troops for good reason, and I think this reason should also now apply to CNN. They are not being asked by Congress to be censored, however, the Pentagon should seriously consider withdrawing CNN from the military embed program.

Because video is available doesn't make the premise for airing it valid. The fact that the video was created with the blood of American soldiers, with the sole intention of being propaganda for the enemy makes it traitorous and vile and unworthy of any AMERICAN or American company to freely disseminate for the terrorists.

CNN has become nothing but a tool for the terrorists, just like Al-Jezzera or Tokyo Rose if you go back further. Spreading the propaganda and lies of our enemies.

At least when I watch Fox, I don't get the slime from Al-Queda sneaking in with the news.

Do either one of you know the pledge of allegiance? When was the last time you recited it or even thought about what the words mean? You guys need a patriotism check. Sorry to be blunt, but this seems like a clearly visible line that Liberals must be blind to.

Desperate? Nope, just shining the light of day on your lack of patriotism. How can you claim any semblance of patriotism while cheering the treason of an American media company who eagerly airs video of Al-Queda snipers shooting at and murdering our soldiers?

I think you ought to take a side. Are you with us or against us? Liberals hate this line between black and white, good and evil. They/you think there is NO black or white, only shades of grey. Is nuance more important to Democrats than stark reality?
When you advocate removing our troops from the Mideast, immediately, or as Sen. Carl Levin said this weekend, by the end of the year, how can you legitimately call that anything but "cut and run" or "defeat and retreat?"

I predict that this perceived lack of patriotism and/or backbone on behalf of Democrats are among the reasons that they will NOT gain majority in November.

On a side note, I just heard some polling figures for the 101st. Looks like Dick Cain is now moving out front, and Flider is now running under 50%.
I find it interesting that Flider, while working at Ameren, helped draft the legislation that set up the power auction. Then, as an Ameren employee, he lobbied for it. Then, as a Rep, he supported and pushed it. Now that it has become obvious that this plan will stick consumers with outragious new costs, and if ratepayers may see the truth of his Ameren support, he decides to cover his back by now supporting a three year freeze on the power rates. "Voting for a rate freeze," is his way of trying to distance himself from the situation that HE CREATED and supported. I'll post more info on this latest polling when I get more details.

I was saying the pledge before you were born, before the government added GOD to it.

Typical neo-con reply attack and insult me before you even know what my opinion is on the issue.

If you think I agree with these videos, YOU ARE WRONG.

But don't let that stop you call me every name in the book.

This is the same uppity attitude that has the whole country sick of your kind, your ideology, and your politics.

I wish you well in your quest to exclude all those who disagree with anything you support. What will you do with them? How will you physically dispose of them? It should be a nice country when all people are just like you.

What does the future look like with your ideology? Neverending war. Citizens dying in the streets, because it's not the governments responsibility to look after the welfare of its people. Bankruptcy, because it's ok not to collect taxes, but continue to spend money on your wars. Medical help to ONLY the rich, because your party thinks it's ok for corporations to do or charge whatever they want.

Ignore the needs of the people, a time proven way to incite revolution. Just the situation that started this country.
