The forum will be Thursday evening, April 12, 2007, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Madden Auditorium at the Decatur Public Library.

What was your impression of the open forum? Any council predictions?
Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the forum.
Predictions...
I expect that all the City Council incumbents will retain their seats. McElroy will probably be the top vote getter, with Carrigan probably number 2. Laegler will be third, well ahead of Faber.
Just for the record, I had McElroy's and Laegler's position wrong, but all three incumbents won re-election. Faber trailed a distant 4th.
Results:
Patrick Laegeler 4,995 -- 26%
Michael Carrigan 4,950 -- 24%
Mike McElroy 4,671 -- 23%
Bill Faber 2,931 -- 14%
Damon Cross 1,656 -- 8%
Billy Roberts 1,023 -- 5%
