The Dem Pork machine abandons our troops

President Bush warns Dems to stop making political statements with the emergency military spending bill and to support the troops.
"...too much pork, too many conditions, and an arbitrary timetable for withdrawal."

"If congress fails to support our troops on the front lines, the American people will know who to hold accountable."

Yeah - the dummy who runs up 8.8 trillion dollars of debt, then refuses to sign a bill that fully funds the miliatry because it includes a non-binding timetable to get out of an unpopular, unnecessary war.

The Dems spent over 50 days to figure out how to load an emergency military expenditure with pork. Buying votes with pork to make a political statement is an affront to taxpayers.
The failure of congress to fully fund our troops is a strange way of saying, "We support our troops."
In the murky world of terrorism and Islamo facsism, announcing when we will simply quit, and cut and run is idiocy.
