WMD - 1998

Madeleine Albright: February 18, 1998

"No one has done what Saddam Hussein has done, or is thinking of doing. He is producing weapons of mass destruction, and he is qualitatively and quantitatively different from other dictators."

CNN news story

I wonder if Mr. Jackson will accept this source as evidence that I utilize multiple media sources, not just Fox News, as he suggests, to come to my own conclusions, through the filter of Solid Logic? Probably not.
I supported firm military action back then, notwithstanding the widespread suspicion that WJC was using this as a coverup for the "Monica situation."

Would the list of requirements that the Vice President has for his travel arrangements even been a news story if the "all TVs must be on and tuned to Fox News?" Of course not. Little mention or emphasis was made of the fact that the NYTimes was also on the list.

Oh no, VP, Albright was misled by George W. Bush. He lied to her and told her all about those made-up WMDs. Saddam is a statesmen and a saint.

How dare we invade his sovereign nation.

No, MJ, I *knew* what date VP was talking about.

I just was playing along with the lefty conspiracy story line that permeates the media and MoveOn.org.

Do we want to bomb Iran? No.

Did we want to bomb Iraq? No.

Does Iran support terrorism? Yes.

Did Iraq support terrorism? Yes.

Was Saddam a terrorist? Yes.

Is the nutball leader of Iran a terrorist? Ask the Israelis.

Do I want a war in Iran? No.

Did/Do I want a war in Iraq? No.

Was it necessary to make Saddam accountable to the world community because of his use of WMDs that Ms. Albright so eloquently spoke of? Yes.

Is Culver's better than Dairy Queen?

Now THAT is the question of the day. As far as taste goes, I say Culver's does have a slight edge because of the richness of the custard. One could make an argument that it's like apples and oranges, since DQ has soft-serve ice cream and Culver's has frozen custard. I will grant you that.

In the end, however, a Culver's two scoop chocolate sundae with peanut-butter topping and Spanish peanuts is pure heaven.
