Amnesty plot by Kennedy and McCain?

This throws most of the conservative vote further away from McCain. He is being more clearly seen by conservatives as a half-hearted supporter of conservatism. His main goal sometimes seems to be poking the conservatives in the eye with his rollover cooperation with Dems like Kennedy and Feingold.

Let's hope and assume that this newest version of amnesty nonsense goes nowhere fast, and let's start enforcing the current laws on immigration, including the completion of the border fence and securing our borders first.

How could anyone who describes themselves as Americans, whether conservative or just short of the most moonbat liberal, ever voice support for this? I don't know, but I'm willing to listen to the mysterious logic of this potential sellout of the American Citizen.
