Solar Activity, Methane and Mahmoud

Mankind cannot be blamed for global warming, or cooling. The sun and the earth itself are the major causes of changes in climate. What we do is insignificant in the grand scheme of historical climatology.

Some recent examples of such natural phenomenon include:

MOUNT ST. HELENS -- "A magnitude 3.6 earthquake shook Mount St. Helens July 18, 2006, one of the largest earthquakes recorded during the ongoing eruption, the U.S. Geological Survey said."
The May 18, 1980, eruption, killed 57 people and blasted about 1,300 feet off the 9,677-foot peak.

Speaking of volcanos, terrorist leader Mahmoud "Monkey" Ahmadinejad made some comparisons with current events.
Some excerpts from an address given by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, which aired on the Iranian News Channel on July 18, 2006.
They should know that the volcano of rage of the peoples of the region is boiling.
[…]
I'm telling you… If this volcano erupts - and we are on the brink of eruption... and if this ocean rages, its waves will not be limited to the region.

Larry Elder says that Civilization is at stake. He is right.

Solar Activity is thought to cause climate changes so vast that man barely registers a blip.
"In light of these real-world-based observations, plus the multitude of studies that indicate most climate changes of the past were clearly associated with changes in solar activity (see Solar Effects in our Subject Index), the case for anthropogenic CO2 emissions playing anything more than a minor role in contemporary global warming would appear to be fading fast."

Gas escaping from ocean floor may drive global warming
Researchers from the University of California Santa Barbara observe methane blast from ocean floor...

I was all set to believe AlGore's story of how civilization is the cause of all bad karma, but I think a lot more research is in order first.

Urban Battlefield Monitoring

Nano Air Vehicle to Monitor the Urban Battlefield

Maple trees won't ever seem so innocent again. This will probably be thought by liberals to be a Bush/Rumsfeld DOD top secret plan to eavesdrop on moonbats. It's no coincidence that maple seeds and liberals both are found in high concentrations in the North East.

It does seem to have an enormous potential for covert surveillance.

Israeli Restraint - A Moment of Truth

Israel is defending itself. Period. In my opinion, they have showed much more restraint than was necessary in the past. The ONLY restraint that I hope they presently have in mind is not nuking every Arab country in the region. Short of that, they should defend themselves as they see fit. If they request assistance, we should provide it openly and with haste.

Radical Islamic Fundamentalists ARE the enemy of civilization, and it is time to quit pussyfooting around the obvious facts that confirm it everyday, notwithstanding the ignorant pleas of Islam being a "peaceful religion."

Would 400 rockets fired on Chicago or any American city by an enemy determined to end our existence mean that we should show restraint toward the attackers? Of course not. I would hope that we'd eliminate the threat by any means possible. The countries asking for restraint on the part of Israel are showing their hypocrisy, as no sovereign nation would stand for continued attacks without fighting back and defending themselves.
(Maybe the French, but even then, that would depend on the payoff options)

"Like a roman candle shooting through the blue sky, the launch of Space Shuttle Discovery on mission STS-121 kicks off the fireworks for the U.S. holiday."
