Clinton criticizes GWB regularly

Over at a BlogDecatur post about the Fox News interview with WJClinton, a commenter seems incredulous regarding my statement about one of WJC's blatant lies during the interview. He seems to think that Clinton didn't begin criticizing this administration until this interview. He asked for proof. Here is a small portion of a simple Google search that lists just a few of the times that WJC has criticized GWB and the current administration:

"Trailing 50 miles behind the International Space Station, the STS-115 crew conducted an inspection of Space Shuttle Atlantis’ heat shield this morning.
The crew used the robotic arm and boom sensor system to ensure that the orbiter’s leading wing edges and nose cap had not received damage from space junk and micrometeoroids.
Also on today’s work schedule is the stowage of items in preparation for the return to Earth. Otherwise, it is a light day of duty for the crew members.
Atlantis is scheduled to touch down at 5:57 a.m. Wednesday at the Shuttle Landing Facility at Kennedy Space Center, Fla. Landing will bring to an end STS-115’s successful mission to the International Space Station."

Crew Detects Odor; Atmosphere Recovery Efforts Under Way
"Shortly before 7:30 a.m. EDT, the International Space Station Expedition 13 crew reported an odor in the Zvezda Service Module and manually activated an alarm to begin emergency procedures. The source of the odor was quickly determined to be an apparent leak of potassium hydroxide in the station's Elektron oxygen generation system. Potassium hydroxide, or caustic potash, can be an irritant to crew members, but is not classified as a life-threatening toxin.
The crew donned surgical masks, goggles and gloves for protection from the apparently small leak. Continual measurements of the station atmosphere have indicated levels of any contaminants are very low. The crew also has begun a standard procedure to scrub the air onboard to ensure no potassium hydroxide vapors remain.
Expedition 13 Commander Pavel Vinogradov reported to Russian flight controllers at about 7:45 a.m. that the situation had stabilized and that he cleaned up a chemical near the Elektron oxygen generation system."

As much as Olberman seems to hate anything conservative, I think he is more obsessed with O'Reilly beating him with a big stick in the ratings race than with GWB. He hates GWB plenty, but ask him about O'Reilly and he'll quickly show you what real envy and animosity looks like. The veins will start popping out of his forehead, and the sour grapes will pop out of his mouth.

Olberman and O'Reilly are more alike than either of them would care to admit. Topical pundits, neither is a truly competent journalist, and both are so enamoured with themselves that the accurate presentation of news always comes in a distant second to their own self promotion. O'Reilly is just a lot more experienced and adept at self promotion than Olberman.

The launch of Space Shuttle Atlantis was postponed today for at least 24 hours due to a problem that occurred Tuesday night during the activation of one of the shuttle's three electricity-producing fuel cells. A spike and drop in voltage was noticed on fuel cell number one. Troubleshooting is ongoing, and the problem has been isolated to a coolant pump that helps cool the fuel cell system.The Mission Management Team is scheduled to meet at 12p.m. CDT today to review more data and assess the problem, and a news conference will follow.

Iraqi armed forces have arrested the No. 2 leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq, the country's national security leader said Sunday.
The leader, Hamed Jumaa Faris Juri al-Saaydi, was captured within the past few days near Baqubah, along with 20 other senior members of the Sunni Arab insurgent group, which was responsible for savage beheadings of kidnapped foreigners and suicide attacks that sometimes killed dozens of civilians in a single strike, said the security adviser, Mowaffak al-Rubaie.
Saaydi, also known as Abu Humam or Abu Rana, ordered the February attack on the golden-domed Shiite shrine in Samara that ignited the ongoing ferocious wave of sectarian killings..."

One of the keys to the above story, beyond the fact that it was the #2 guy who was captured, but that the Iraqi armed forces conducted the operation. They had great support I'm sure. Hamed is also said to be giving up his accomplices to the Iraqi forces and has led to 20 more terrorists captured.

NASA started the launch countdown for Space Shuttle Atlantis' STS-115 mission at 7 a.m. CDT Sunday, Sept. 3, at the T-43 hour point.
This mission is the 116th space shuttle flight, the 27th flight for Atlantis and the 19th U.S. flight to the International Space Station. STS-115 is scheduled to last 11 days with a landing at NASA's Kennedy Space Center, Fla., about 7:03 a.m. CDT Sunday, Sept. 17.
