This video from NASA explains the exploration architecture of the many parts of the Constellation Program and shows the direction our country has chosen for the foreseeable future exploration of space.
Enjoy!

Return to the Moon

This new movie style trailer is as well done as any Hollywood trailer. The promotional piece for NASA and probably more to follow should help excite and interest the younger generation who will actually be financially supporting and contributing to the the exploration of the Moon, Mars and beyond.
Originally released only to NASA employees and contractors in 2006, as a cheerleading tool, it apparently has been released (or leaked) to the public just recently. This version seems a bit shorter than the original employee/contractor release.
Enjoy!

Nugent: Gun-free zones are recipe for disaster

"...Evil is as evil does, and laws disarming guaranteed victims make evil people very, very happy. Shame on us.
Already spineless gun control advocates are squawking like chickens with their tiny-brained heads chopped off, making political hay over this most recent, devastating Virginia Tech massacre, when in fact it is their own forced gun-free zone policy that enabled the unchallenged methodical murder of 32 people..."

Obama's take on "hunting"

B. Hussein Obama, (D-IL) had this to say about the Virginia Tech murders:
“(Cho) had a semiautomatic weapon with a clip that allowed him to take 19 shots in a row,” Obama said. “I don’t know any self-respecting hunter that needs 19 rounds of anything. The only reason you have 19 rounds is potentially to do physical harm to people. You don’t shoot 19 rounds at a deer. And if you do, you shouldn’t be hunting.”

The distinguished blogger from Tennessee, "Say Uncle," takes umbrage at the rookie Illinois Senator's ignorance.
Gun rights aren’t about hunting and need. They never have been.

I might add that Mr. Obama's comparison of hunting students and hunting deer is politically crass and quite telling of the potential tone and future under an Democrat Obama presidency.

Mustapha says Pelosi and Assad "discussions very serious"

Syria's ambassador to Washington, Imad Mustapha, told United Press International.
"We can work together on many issues," said the ambassador, adding that it was time to "engage to address the issues."The ambassador, who was in Damascus during Pelosi's visit, said, "The discussions (between Pelosi and Assad) were very serious."

Speaker of the House/State? Pelosi can bring herself to have "very serious discussions" with heads of rogue states, but she refuses to sit down and speak to OUR President in the White House. The Dem candidates also fear the (evil) Fox News. The political games she and the other Democrats are engaged in are disgusting, disruptive, and does serious damage to our country.

The article above is one of the first of many "We are not the enemy" stories coming from Syria, now further mainstreamed by the official Pelosi visit. The Drive-by media will eat it up and regurgitate it back to us with sappy human interest stories because it fits the story line. The story line is "despise anything that can be associated with GWB and shape all stories to that message."
Typical Main Stream Media B.S.
Syria is a state sponsor of terror. Negotiating with terrorists or their state sponsors is idiotic at best, and borders on treasonous "bad behavior."

iPod Liberal Lunacy

An iPod for every kid?
The Detroit News
"...We have come to the conclusion that the crisis Michigan faces is not a shortage of revenue, but an excess of idiocy. Facing a budget deficit that has passed the $1 billion mark, House Democrats Thursday offered a spending plan that would buy a MP3 player or iPod for every school child in Michigan."

It seems that Gov. Blagojevich and the Illinois Dems have spread the disease of "fair tax and spend lunacy" to our neighbor to the north.

Decision 2008
Duncan Hunter CSIS Video
Duncan Hunter (R)CA speaks for about 40 minutes about successes and solutions in the Mideast, solutions for border enforcement, crime, and comments about our lousy trade deal with a cheating China.

"A Keyboard and a .45" interviewed Congressman Hunter. Good read that makes his 2nd ammendment stance very clear and unambiguous, unlike that of some Republican candidates.

“Gun control laws directed at law-abiding citizens are not a crime deterrent. In fact, studies show that private ownership of firearms by Americans reduces crime. You and I both know that the one thing criminals prefer more than any other is unarmed victims.”
Duncan Hunter

Here is Congressman Hunter's video request for help from conservative bloggers for his presidential campaign. 44 seconds and right to the point.
